Wigan Squad

Below is Wigans 19 man squad for the Saint's match on Saturday.

Sam Tomkins, George Carmont, Pat Richards, Paul Deacon, Thomas Leuluai, Michael McIlorum, Andy Coley, Harrison Hansen, Joel Tomkins, Sean O'Loughlin, Paul Prescott, Jeff Lima, Ryan Hoffman, Brett Finch, Lee Mossop, Liam Farrell, Josh Charnley, Gareth Hock, Ben Cross.

Referee - Richard Silverwood.

Cross to miss out if Prescott is 'fully' fit.
The other major choice is who do you leave out between Farrell and Hock ?.
Hock seems to be struggling for match fitness and Farrell has seemed a bit flat after being out of the side for a few weeks.
I think the rest of the team picks itself.

Souths.

I think it as strong has it could get and Wigan have not been to Wembly since 1996, so the hunger will be there. With Saints though the form book goes out of the window,I have allways had the utmost respect and admiration for the Saints.
Wigan should have the edge in the pack,so long as they can shackle Roby, he is class.
My fear is the halfbacks, both Finch and Deacon have what I call a forward orientated game (but both lack pace).
Saints on the other hand have halfbacks in Lomax and Price who are both pretty nippy.
My major problem is that I have a prior engagement on Saturday in Gateshead,so come 4-30pm I will be sat in an hotel room in front of the tele.
I hope to have room service organised to keep me supplied with a few pints.

A couple of bottles in the hand basin on ice will fix your problem, not your halves problem but your thirst's problem....

Without mentioning his name as we all know who the key man is here. When he joins in the line at pace the Saints defence will be in a panic.
The key for Saints to win this is to stop him getting the ball, and when he does close him down very quickly.
This is going to be a truly great game, which i expect to be a Wigan win.
