I'm neither an Arsenal or Man City fan but i think City would be prudent in getting Wenger who is proven to be a fantastic manager and knows the english game and media inside-out whereas someone like Pellegrini whom i really rate btw may be another gamble that might take city down the same road that saw mancini's fate.
Youth Development and network/contacts , Style, Class, Wealth of experience are all the qualities that Man City need and it's about time that we see Wenger build another football club. It would be refreshing for the Arsenal fans and the football world in general and perhaps may add stability to city in the long term and to a league that is a washed with trigger happy directors.
what's your thoughts guys.

Are you deluded?
Arsene has turned down the likes of R.Madrid to stick with us, what makes you think he'd leave us for Man City?

Cause City are a bigger club.

I'd understand turning down Real Madrid however in my eyes City are a new club to me in terms of thier new found wealth under these owners and throwing money at it year after year is not the answer and i believe Wenger is the man to shape the club top to bottom and i'll tell you it's coming whether you like it or not he will move but only for the right club which allows him to make his mark. If City are patient they will have consistent success like Utd who have money and the right structure. Clubs like Chelsea, Madrid and city now are clubs that look for short term success. Where as Barca and Utd will be looking at the bigger picture.
If you think appointing pellegrini and handing him a cheque book is the way forward then it must feel like deja vu to you.

Wenger second only to SAF in the premiership era for me so one of the best managers around but I really can't see him going to City.
Arsenal is his club he wouldn't leave to go somewhere else.

Not if it is the wrong man in charge. What if we had kept Hughes?!
Wenger 10 years ago, I would have straight away. Now, not a chance, I've built up quite a big disliking of him.

He'd be pushing up daisies he's that old now. The days of longevity at clubs has long gone Wenger is an exception to the rule mainly due to his early success and he has managed to maintain champs league football year in year out.
Fergie has now left united, well after Sunday. That is when the new order at United begins how long if Moyes does not win a trophy will they stand by him. United are a club that demands success, They expect success, if they go a couple of seasons without a trophy or even have a disastrous season 13/14 watching close rivals picking up the silverware, then I firmly believe they, like most clubs with wealthy owners, will also jump on the managerial merry go round.
