Hello Gooners,
The summer of speculation has started, and rather than sit here getting increasingly angry at how 99.99% of it is fabricated, I'm just going with it for now.
We're heavily linked with Jovetic and Higuain, Twitter (I know, I know) has just gone beserk since we've finished in the top 4.
I can't say I know a huge amount about either of them, other than that Jovetic is quick, good with the ball at his feet, bit like Suarez, and Higuain is more of a finisher who is both quick and good in the air. Sounds like we'd have to cough up around £25m for either of them.
Going along with this, if we could only have 1 of them, (seems even more unlikely we'd go in for both) which would you take and why?

Jovetic easily, giroud can reach higuain's level if he improves next season which is possible

I have said all along, and agree with others about Villa.
that ship has sailed, he would have been perfect 3 or 4 years ago, but not now. to old, to slow, to injury prone, and on too much money to make it a wise idea.

Good comment, not sure why fans are writing off giroud, wenger has faith in him and I am certain giroud will prove the doubters wrong next season

I don't think Giroud will be "discarded", Wenger realises he is a decent option.
I agree, Giroud has had a decent season, under awkward circumstances. Having the almost thankless task of replacing RVP was a real sh *t sandwich for the Chambéry adonis! Personally I think the level of flack aimed at Giroud, especially on this board is absolutely unjustified, unfair and bizarre.
But I will say this, Arsenal NEED a clinical, nailed on 25 + goal a season striker IF they are serious about challenging for the Premier League!
But I do think Giroud can and will be a decent option to have in the set-up.

Not at all. Not ITK and no one is ITK. I know what should happen. And that is buying both! or at least jovetic and a top class finisher.
