Steve Bould

Heard a few months ago that Pulis will step down at end of the season and Steve Bould will replace him. I laughed it off at the time but what if this happens?

Lets get Klopp as assistant manager

Yes that was a joke

I would be gutted. We had a few blips but ended the season on a very strong note defensively. This is the most reliable we have been at the back for over 5 years IMO, I think he had a big impact. 2nd best defensive in the league anyone?

I'm sure he will become at least a coach. Will probably take a coach/player role at Botafago within the next 2 years then move into Europe after. I have no idea if this is true, but I can't see him wanting to leave football.

Not many potters on here, doubt many will mourn TP's demise. Poyet for potters, Pullis for Wolves.

It was time for him to go. New ideas and new management skills needed if Stoke are to avoid relegation next season.

You Stoke fans may look back in a year or two and regret the day you binned Pulis! Charlton and Curbishley come to mind...

I agree with Forestlen, never below 14th, realistically without huge investment never going to challenge the Top 5, so things can only get worse.

Really can't see why he had to go - or indeed why any manager would want to come if 13th in the Premiership is seen as failure,

Stoke have rolled the dice... I hope it works out for them.

sometimes change is needed and good God a change was needed at that club....

Was it really needed, the Top 7 ar the usual suspects, and I really don't think Stoke will ever challenge them. They are a middle of the table type club, along with West Brom, Swansea etc, so the best a new manager can hope for is to get up 5 places and that is assuming the board are willing to splash the cash to enable a new manager to buy some players. That is also assuming that the other clubs won't invest as well!
