Amazed that Moysie has sacked goalkeeping coach Eric Steele. One of the success stories about United's staff recently has been the progression of De Gae as a Premier league goalie over his 2 seasons at United. From rabbit in the eyes soft foreigner in his debut vs City in the CS, to the PFA goalkeeper of the year this season.
That's got to be down to Steele and his staff. The recent MUTV documentary about the GK team training at Carrington showed how tight the GK dept at United is.
De Gae's continued development is a long term project for a GK of his age and to scupper his routine at Carrington by sacking his immediate boss and mentor could come back and kick Moysie up the proverbial.

Harry admitted that it wasn't his grand scheme to move Bale to wing. Injuries forced his hand.
It was basically a jammy accident.
It was similar to his move to the middle.

Same with Modric. When he first went there he was an attacking mid. That was the destiny of his career. So much so he still plays there for Croatia and Madrid on occasion.
It was Spurs crap midfield that led to him being moved into a deeplying role, not a calculated decision on Harry's part.
That's why your got to credit the player for adapting to the role.
Fabregas is a good example of the manager making a calculated decision to move his player to a new position.

I think very little credit is being given to De Gea himself.
I'm sure the next guy will only be tweaking and improving... much like Steel.... DDG is the guy with the talent and apparent desire.

Ji, don't worry, I've been giving De Gea plenty of credit.
Hopefully he has a good Euros for the under 21's. Can only be good for his development.
