The most eagerly anticipated fight of the year is finally here. Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler finally get it on again, three years after their first fight.
Keys to victory:
For Froch it could all be about the left-hook. Kessler is very susceptible to the chopping left-hook, as he sometimes over throws the straight right hand. Another great weapon for the Cobra could be the use of the uppercut. Again when Kessler over reaches, Carl should be looking to throw the right uppercut followed by the left hook. The main thing for Froch is that he doesn’t go all out early. The crowd will be in full voice, but Froch cannot let that dictate the fight.
For Kessler to win, he will need to establish his jab early. His jab is one of his more potent punches and he likes to double up, sometimes to the body and then the head. He CANNOT afford to over reach with his right hand tonight. He will be punished for it. He attacks to the body well also, and if he can start digging in some hard hooks to the body early, Carl may tire late on.
Prediction
Froch KO

BTW, if Kessler can come to England and fight Froch after beating him first time round. Your boy Ward can do the same. No matter what opinion people may hold of Ward v Froch, i.e how convincing the win would be or was last time round...Boxing could still do with a fight like that here in the UK because Carl is not that inept.

Ward should man up and fight Froch in England. I still think Ward will win unfortunately as he's the mayweather of the division and is just a level above everyone but if he really wants to prove a point then he should beat Froch in England.
Froch is the second best fighter in the division and is undefeated in England so what better way to prove you're a class above everyone by beating the #2 in his own backyard and ending his England undefeated record

To get Ward over it's all about the purse. He's on a huge deal with HBO and they only like to show fights on primetime for the US so for Sky and Hearn to get him over they will have to fork out alot of money which won't happen.
Like people have said earlier this not a football match where there is some sort of away leg. This is about money and TV deals and the US run the show on that.
Either Froch goes to the US or move up the division and win a belt in a very weak division.

Well whatever happens I think Froch will fight Ward, whether here or in the US. It is obvious Froch wants to avenge that defeat and he'll try do it wherever. Whether, Hearn and Co. can offer the money for him to come here we'll have to wait and see, but they are making noises...

Listening to Froch he only seems to be interesting in fighting at home at the moment so that will rule out a trip to the US.

The fight wonthappen in the UK. Froch in his interview was speaking like he was the main man in the division "everyone wants a piece of the cobra"...I rate the guy but he has delusions of grandeur.
I have always taken issue with backyard fighters, so both Ward and Froch are playing come fight at my house.Money aside IT DOES ADD to the psychi of a boxer knowing he has a partizan crowd and cultural familiarity.
Froch talked about Ward having a weak chin, so its clear to see what his tactic would be, and this will be his downfall because a faster, more intelligent pure boxer will always do a job on a juggernaught...albeit an 11 stone one.

Where is your premiership title?
I guess Froch should first go and fight Dirrell in America by your logic. A lot of people thought Dirrell beat Froch.
Froch should fight Bute and Pascal in Canada as they came over here.
