Smith/Peralta signed

According to STV/Raman Bawheid.

Steven Smith, thought he could have been a good player a few years back, but injuries saw to it that he wouldn't reach his full potential unfortunately. Decent back up to have for Wallace though, and can allow for us to rest him.

Peralta, have absolutely no idea about him in truth. Apart from a few minutes I seen him play last year, I couldn't tell you how he plays. Could be a hit, could be a flop, so it remains to be seen how it goes. Hopefully the former though.

In addition to that, looking to bring in a centre back and a right back as well. So targeting our weak positions finally, so hopefully some progress can be made in that front. All in all, good to get business done with quickly and easily as possible. Get them in for pre season so they'll be match fit, plus we can play them as trialists for 3 games each, which we will hopefully take full advantage of.

Anyway, hopefully next season is better than last, with regards to being able to put on decent performances, and hopefully a better showing in the league than we did last season.

Also see Gordon Strachan has been mumping his gums about us, for no real reason whatsoever. Nothing really vindictive, but it's still tedious hearing managers talking about other sides. Our own is also guilty of it.

I have no idea why you think CB is a weak position.

As long as perry is there there is no problem. Cribari and hegarty were a great combo.

RB i agree there aint much there, gie mitchell a go. seroiusly how leaky do you expect our back line to be though. all the danger at the games this year came from passing play down the middle. so unless you have scouted div 2 and its full of wingers i have no idea why we need to worry about shoreing up the back four

Don't get me wrong, they did perform decent at times, but a more commanding centre back would be better for where we are, IMO. A lot of the issues was due to a lack of leadership/organisation on the park, which we need to add.

BN - think you're being a tad harsh on WGS. I saw that article and he was being very complimentary about Walter - nothing wrong with the Scotland Manager paying your new Chairman a compliment

Not being harsh at all. Hence why I said it wasn't inflammatory. Point I was making is that managers that talk about teams which aren't their own, grinds my gears, as there isn't really any need to be bothered about them, unless you're actually playing them.
