According to Scott Burns, is apparently a player of interest.
Scott Burns has been pretty spot on in most transfers we've made recently, which could suggest some truth to the deal.
We could do worse, but also better IMO.

I'd take him. Always done a decent job b4 for us so don't see why he wouldn't again

Not a superstar, but a better right-back than we have at the moment, and a blue-nose
The negative side is that for every Richard Foster we sign, the development of a young Mitchell in that position is held back
Likewise with Stevie Smith......never a superstar but could be a useful squad player, and I can't see him getting a start unless 1) Wallace picks up an injury or 2) he (Smith) now plays in a different position. But, as he is so obviously left-sided, surely he'll never get in the team ahead of Wallace orTempleton, plus sell-on value at end of contract at age 30?!

No what your saying prof, the more fosters wee sign the less game time our youngsters will get.
Can't have it both ways I suppose

Thought Foster was a sheep fan. Agree he'd be a solid signing though.

I wasn't too impressed when he signed for us to be honest, but he certainly proved me wrong.
Plenty of solid displays and didn't look out of place with far, far superior players in the squad than we have now.
Would be quite happy to see him come in this time around if it's true

Just looked him up, seeing I didn't really keep track of where he went after we left...
Still has a year left on his Bristol contract and has started 50 matches for them since moving 18 months ago.
Doubt they'll let him go without a reasonable fee, considering they paid Aberdeen a fee for him in the first place...

He might have a relegation release clause though.
