According to reports, the referee was tied up, beaten, stoned and quartered. They then put his head on a stake and planted it in the middle of the pitch.

It's total madness, really barbaric. These kind of things are 500 years outdated.

That's not certain. There's every chance it was just the ref that was a total loon, and the others got angry (albeit a little too angry)
All I know is that if my family/friend got stabbed in front of me, I'd want to make sure that man went through hell

Unbelievably, there is a video of the poor guy being put back together on live leak. The had his head, arms and legs off.

Poor guy? Don't want to be controversial. But the man killed another person in cold blood. Not saying what happened to him was right. But you can't go around killing people.
