Novak Djokovic

I know it's now been a few days since that final. I've just watched it again and being a big Andy Murray fan I'm still ecstatic.

What mustn't be understated is the sportsmanship of Nole, his family and backing team.

Novak wasn't like this until recently. Shows what a good PR team can do.

I don't really know about that Robbie I always find he applauds his opponents great shots but his backing team and parents really did him proud.

Almost all players today seem to give well-prepared positive comments about their opponents in finals.

We have come a long way from the playing days of Jimbo and Mac.

Even Serena tries although she doesn't always look genuine.

Alrite Pol, I've not been about here for ages, thought i'd give this place a miss, especially during SW19 this year!! I'm still buzzing about what Andy has just achieved. I don't mind admitting I found it very emotional even before he had won the match, and like you, have watched the match again, and the last game around 20 times!! Just love the fact that the Murray haters can now only spout out to the usual drivel about Andy being "dull and boring"!!

As for Novak, like Rafa, I've always found them very gracious in defeat unlike others!!

Looking forward to many years of Novak vs Murray!!

People are ruling Nadal out way too early. He is going to win more slams. He's had a good break now. He will be a contender for the US open. He won at the Indian wells. So he knows a hard court. Last few results at US open = SF, SF, WIN, FINAL.

People ruling Nadal out know nothing about tennis. His done brilliantly in all the masters events and is fresher than Murray and Djokovic.

Alright Logout mate. Sunday was immense. Can't say enough how much I loved it. US open win was great but didn't come close to Sunday for me.

Bubbles I wouldn't dare write Rafa off. He's a competitor and a half but e do have to question whether his knees can stand up to the rigors of the tour.

For me Andy and Nole will contest another 10 slam finals against one another

The problem with Nadal at this years wimbledon was fatigue more than anything. Entering 9 tournaments and reaching all finals will take its tole and it did. Now he has had a rest and still has a month to rest, he should be fine. Lets hope he's fine because having just 2 players compete for everything won't be very good for the sport. Hopefully Del Potro will be in the mix too.

I don't think Rafa is finished, not by a long shot. He will have to manage his schedule better though. Don't be surprised if he misses SW19 from now on. I think he has another 3-6 slams left in him.
