Dereck Chisora vs Malik Scott

Del Boy goes into a must win fight to try and salvage his career against the unbeaten American and ranked fighter Malik Scott this weekend.

Scott has an unbeaten record of 35 wins from 36 fight drawing 1 but with only 12 KOs to his name. Chisora has lost 20% of his fights, time time in just 20 outings, this might seen as a bad record. But Del Boy has mixed it with the best.

While most fighters are still getting fed gimmes at that stage of their career, Chisora went against the likes of Williams, Sexton and Fury before his 15th fight. Losing to Fury via a close decision in a poor fight, which both men were out of shape.

Chisora then stepped it up a level taking on Helenius, Vitali and the grudge match against Haye. Many thought he beat Helenius, the highly rated Finn at that time, gave Vitali his toughest fight since Lewis arguably, but got blasted out by Haye.

Chisora is a very good inside fighter, very very durable and has a great work rate. I have not seen Malik fight before and despite his record, I feel Del Boy will be the more experience fighter at this level.

He will beat Scott mentally then physically.

Here is a clip of them together and it looks like Chisora is already in his head.

Should really watch some of Scott's fight but he has not fought anyone of note in those 36 fights.

Should be a good one.

I'm going for Chisora 8th round stoppage.

Chisora looks like he has gotten his act to together and looks like he in the best shape of his career.

Predictions?

Am I right in saying Sergio is vulnerable against big punching fighters who pressure him and close the ring down?

Margarito, KOed him

Hmm, are you saying GGG will KO him.

Maybe.

I think GGG is the kind of fighter who would cause Sergio big problems. Martinez gets hit a lot, that's a massive handicap against a puncher like GGG.

But he's got a good chin to be fair to him.

Recovers well, Pavlik was a huge puncher as well.

Check out the Pavlik vs Taylor, the first fight.

if a referee says it's a slip but it's actually a knockdown, can the judges overturn that decision when they're scoring?

No

that's quite a stupid rule then...

so if the ref is retar.ded, the judges can't rectify his errors? how is that even remotely logical?

Ref makes the calls, judges have to listen.
