I think it's very sad that cricket appears to be going the same way as football?

DCCC did really well last season to finish top. They did have some good fortune in that Yorkshire lost a lot of time to rain, but they did stick at it and the last game of the season was great to follow live. It still doesn't explain the massive difference in class between the two teams now though, with Yorkshire flying high? We've even gone off the rails in the 20/20.

However, the previous CC game against Somerset did prove they really have the capacity to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory!

Maybe Newcastle should have a cricket team, we would then be guaranteed of at least one win then.
