A lot of talk on the internet from a story in Marca that Bale has handed in a transfer request to Spurs and wants to force through a move to Real Madrid.
Bale is the player I want the most at United but have been resigned to thinking he'll end up at Real. I think United would stump up the cash IF he wanted to join United but his agent seemed pretty sure that Bale and Real are the perfect match.
IF (and it's a big if) this story is correct and Bale does go to Real this summer then such a fee might result in Real letting go some players (after buying Isco and Illaramendi too).
Could we pick up the likes of Modric and Di Maria?

Thing is, if Madrid spend £80m on Bale, they'll have spend about £150m in total this summer.
Added you he fact they already have too many wingers/ attacking midfielders means they'd have to sell.
One thing is for sure though, if they are selling they aren't selling cheap, look at Higuain.

Di Maria!? Why would a move for him improve the team? Either Nani, Valencia or Young would have to move on before this would happen.
The Fabregas move wasn't a bad idea by the Club, in fact he's a good fit, it's just unfortunate the player has other ideas.
I think the Bale deal is a none starter too, Utd need to concentrate on other areas.
