Barry Hearn's argument yesterday.......

I simple don't understand it.

Whatever the rights or wrongs of West Ham moving and the way the finance for the O.S will work can anyone explain the sense in what Barry put forward to the House of Lords committee on Olympic and Paralympic legacy yesterday?

I'm paraphrasing here but the jist of what he said was...

..Playing in the Olympic Stadium alternate weeks to West Ham will secure our (Orients) future but playing at Brisbane Road (half a mile away) on alternate weeks to West Ham will mean the end of the Club.

I don't get that.

He did a far better job than brady. She could have just answered the questions instead of repeating the tosh she did

Watching the athletics on TV. Olympic Stadium looking very impressive! Imagine what it will be like once the modifications are complete.

With the likelihood it will be half full for most matches, not very good or atmospheric either!

1. Boleyn Ground usually sells out - 34k.

2. Olympic Stadium = 54k.

3. Cheaper ticket prices will mean bigger attendances.

4. Bitter.

Greaves

No likelihood it will only be half full for league games what so ever. Even with no increase on last seasons average it would be 65% full.

currently.....................even at 64% it will look weird, you will have to admit that!

myhoofers............................same old, same old! Try brining something new to the party please!

AVB's

Sad thing about this is Orient and Hammers fans used to get on. Now because of the actions of our respective owners we are at each others throats.

------------

You'll be playing them twice next season.

No question about it Sir Digby!

I used to live opposite the ground as a kid in the 60s. Used to climb in every other Saturday and watch Webb and Rofe...loved those days.

My dad eventually persuaded me to follow Spurs

I dunno still a long time left this season, not getting my hopes up yet just enjoying each week while it lasts

My dad sort of forced me towards orient since I was very young, your dad sounds like a very harsh man!
