I'm glad that Irfan is rested for test cricket. He's had a lot of load but Wahab in test cricket is another bizzare choice

Well Irfan's fitness has improved and in truth should have probably got a rest for the whole of this tour.

Umar Akmal should get in as a batsman, if not a W/K batsman. I like the idea of Shoaib Maqsood in the squad, he if he performs will more than defo be the guy we require at 3 in ODI's. He scores quick full stop.

I'd have Wahab in Tests, in the squad simply because on flat tracks his pace will do us good. But I'd still have the likes of Rahat and Ehsan ahead of him in Tests good to see them given another shot. And I hope and pray it's Khurram Manzoor who opens and not Farhat. He's the player we require as opener, deserves his call-up. But, Manzoor should be batting alongside Jamshed, not Farhat or Hafeez.

The U-19's, the A team are the future- There is less than 2 years left till the WC starts we need to try fresh blood- If they're good enough we will find out, but I rather fail with a young 20 year old than a Imran Farhat. I couldn't care less if the domestic scene in Pakistan is rubbish, or the pitches are flat with mediocre competition- Just pick the youngsters that perform and give them a chance. I am sure out of 5 you will get one good one.

If the Pakistan national team cannot get proper Test fixtures to England, Australia on a regular basis- Then you can defo make sure the A team, or the U-19 team does- Invest in these lot like England do, send them to Australia, RSA etc... And pick the best.

Whichever, players come good out of this U-19 team currently playing in the tri-nations- I'd pick and give a try. Simple.
