8bit I was banned from your board for "commenting too much" and somebody complained that if I wasn't banned he'd complain every hour until I was. I didn't post one WUM article or comment.

A football forum where fans get to have intelligent conversations and argue points in a civilised way - sounds pretty damn good to me.

I choose not to engage with WUM and, the odd bit of scarcasm aside, do not attempt to wind up other fans. Unfortunately that does mean I get a very reduced selection of articles to contribute to on these boards. This summer has been the worst I've seen it as well.

seems a bit harsh TOOR, I don't mind the Pool fans on our board, they can give it and take it so it;s not a problem.

Gotta say, it is getting pretty boring on here, same article rehashed by users day in, day out; however, I don't think users should be banned from boards for frustrating someone. Thats not the right way to go for me.

The problem is, the WUM articles are completely stifling the (sparse) decent articles. Its a problem which needs to be contained. For me, a decent forum needs to be moderated; not just in terms of upholding the house rules, but also on the housekeeping front. Make a sticky thread, call it "Suarez transfer news" - all Suarez transfer news gets discussed there; and further articles (i.e. duplicates) are treated as redundant and removed. We don't need 10 new ja606 articles every time another (none)development emerges from this saga, lets put it all in 1 place! Another sticky, entitled "Liverpool/Arsenal mud slinging thread" - a perfect place for the WUMs to have it out; and not only is it contained & condensed, but articles of different subjects are easier to spot rather them be buried on page 4.
