After winning Canada/Cincy DOUBLE, Roddick and Rafter won the USO in 2003 and 1998 respectively. Agassi won the Canada/Cincy DOUBLE in 1995 and four years later he won the USO. Since I doubt Nadal will be a slam contender in four years, he will likely emulate Roddick and Rafter(win USO this year) instead of Agassi who had a very atypical career, peaking at 29, very unusual.

Isn't it strange how you peak in sports at different ages? I hope Murray hasn't peaked, and doesn't peak for another 2/3 years.
With the level of competition currently, I don't imagine this combo will be too common over the next 5-6 years?

Logie I reckon Andy is starting his peak 3-4 years. He's physically a beast now and the slams is all he's really interested in. (hope that changes cos i want him to hit no 1)
ava appreciate the thread, hope to spead with you during the Open

lets hope so Pol, the next 12 months will shape his future. Think he needs to take 2 of the next 4 slams to have any chance of hitting #1?
