I think that's a fantastic point McStay. Right now Lennon should be the highest paid manager in Scotland. You therefore have to wonder what the payoff is for no wage rise?
A lower wage makes the buyout of the contract cheaper for a new suitor, that tied in with some sort of easy release clause would give Lennon a perfect out if required. No doubt he could always blame the board for failing to back him?

It's cause he's got ginger hair. In Scotland the salaries of people with ginger hair are capped. It was the same with Gordon Strachan. Celtic are trying to save money by employing gingers. Lawell is a very shrewd character.
