Man I wish Wenger had followed up his interest in David Villa. I think if we had signed him then we'd be right up there are genuine title challengers.
Walcott - Ozil - Cazorla
Villa
Giroud will do though, shown already this season that he's improved and is more clinical. Needs to keep it up. Any injury to him and we have Podolski or even Walcott who can play there. Sanogo doesn't look ready (only played a bit part so far tbf) and Bendtner could get somewhere between 0-3 goals imo.

Ans he was sold for something like £9 mil I think

Don't think 9mil would have been that much for a proven clinical goalscorer.

It was more like £2m plus some clauses if he stays for 3 years or something like that.

That's what mean Mr tweedy...it was a bargain

I'm with you Russia.
Clinical in front of goal, cheap, Wenger has always liked him. Can't see why we didn't get him.

You know how we got Özil because he knew he'd be first choice and Wenger had 100% belief in him?
That's why we didn't get David Villa

Do think you should have put in a bid for Jordan Rhodes !
At least he'd have jumped at the chance for an opportunity in the Prem. £8m enough ?

Was just watching Revista De La Liga and I was thinking the same. 2m for his quality plus provides an option both on the wing and upfront... Bad miss.
