I have been away for a week on a surveillance mission examining ladies in bikinis on a beach.
I have been reading your comments about our last match and also how far we have travelled as a club in recent times. Here is the proof. Being told that we had lost 0-2 to Oxford I responded by stating that 'we must have had a player sent off'. That speaks volumes to me.
Anyway, I have some league table mathematics to catch up with. Back soon with that table. I am going to predict;
Brewers 2 Pompey 2

2-2 for me.

Game 7 already. Three draws and a win (last year v York) in previous years.
Another draw for me. But let's go for a bag full of goals.
3-3.
Useless stat of the week? Portsmouth will be the 38th different side we have faced since winning the Conference, but the first that have played in the Premier League during our time as a League club, finishing bottom in 2009-10.

Great factoid Steve - I like that one. Shows what can happen in football with some poor decision making.

I'll go for a win and predict 4 -2 to the Albion.

Gentlemen, I can't see beyond you beating us 2-0 unless Ricky Holmes gets a start and has another good game against you Brewers. All of our away games in the league have ended 2-2 and much as we've got goals in us, we've also got a shocking defence. By contrast your defence is one of the best we'll have come up against and much as big Patrick works hard, I think GW will set them up so he has little support.
Oh and by the way both our keepers are rubbish so I can see Pickford having chances as neither can cope with shots from distance.
Most of all though enjoy the game.

Based purely upon what Seb has written I think I will change my prediction. You can't beat the insider knowledge.
Brewers 3 Pompey 1
I was looking at the Portsmouth Premier League squad in 2009 when they were relegated. Credit to Avram Grant for getting a single point.

I think that we are due a win so I am going for 2.0 with Hussey and Howe getting the goals.

Bit last minute but here goes:
Brewers 2 Pompey 1
Important test today. Not the end of the world if we dont win. Just thinking about how many points our side of two years ago would have, playing against the teams we have been up against so far - I think that's easy to answer , don't you - (in a french accent "nil poins"
C'mon you Brewers
