PES 14 demo

Finally got round to downloading PES 14. Didn't buy any football games last year and had only switched to Fifa the previous year after buying every iteration of PES from the Snes ISS days.
Anyway, at first I thought it looked terrible, play was really sluggish and I nearly stopped playing after the first half, but the comments on here got me through and I ended up playing 5/6 games.
What struck me was how different each game was, yes I won them all but some were tense 1-0s, others were goal-fests but ultimately they were all enjoyable - something that I never got from Fifa and I don't think I've experienced since PES 6 on PS2.
Has anyone bought the full game? Is it much different from the demo?

Also, why are my players so slow? I get out-paced every game for through balls. How do I dribble?

Games like PES 2014 justify games piracy. It is broken and unfinished. I paid £35 for it and feel I've been conned. That said, some parts are enjoyable.
My advice: Don't buy it at full price. It's probably good value at £20.

I have FIFA 13 and felt FIFA 14 felt much too similar. I will just wait this year out (thanks to you guys). In a way your money(and reviews) is helping the community. Don't know if that's any comfort to you though
Thanks though

Just torrented pes 2014, it's certainly not bad but the shooting is so bad I don't want to play, master league hasn't changed for 4 years now

Have you tried setting shooting to manual? I found it quite good on the demo so I'm not sure what to make of people saying its awful.
