Return series outcome!

After watching England win 3-0 what are your expectations for the forthcoming Ashes series?
Greg Blewitt and most Aussies seem quietly confident of the Australian chances. Personally i think they are brushing over their shortcoming and over hyping in England's demise. I mean for Cook, Trott, Prior and to some extent Peiterson to average so low with the bat two series on the bounce would be a huge shock. If their wickets are bouncy then i think we have the bowlers to utilize these type of wickets. However, they do negate Swann which admittedly will be a plus for the Green baggy.

Ill go for a hard fought draw - 2-2. England retain the Urn.

Woakes looked okish in the final test with the bat. they usually stick with a player for a few tests before they move on.. Ie Baistow. and morgan previously to that..
woakes will be ok to bowl a few overs as a 4th seamer to. Never a 3rd seamer.

3 big decisions, stick with root? Who bats 6? Who's the 3rd seamer? I would make it an Anglo/Irish/south African 11.
Cook
Compton
Trott
Petersen
Bell
Morgan
Prior
Broad
Swann
Anderson
Rankin

Squad players
Root
Buttler
Panesar
Tremlett
Finn.

Would add bresnan to the squad when he has proved his fitness.

Cant argue with that Benny. Defo liked the look of Rankin; height, bounce and pace. Perfect for Oz wickets.
Anyone know Tremlett form this season? All i know is that he hasn't set the world on fire.

If Perth is the 3rd test match then may be rest Anderson and play both Rankin and Tremlett. Could be an excellent tactical move. Anderson nosedived considerably after first two tests in this ashes series.

Aussies will win 4-0 with rain saving England from the ignominy of a whitewash.

They will be at our throats from the off and know that 600 over two innings of each test will be enough to beat us.

Cook, Root, Trott, KP, Prior - won't score enough between them to give our bowlers a chance.

Griffiths - what was your prediction before the last ashes series started?
At the moment i don't think many believe this is a great England cricket team as yet, but one which potentially can get better. Same can be said of Australia, there not as bad as what people are labeling them!
So 4-0 to Oz is a bit unrealistic, pessimistic in my view.

Anyone else intrigued by the mind games being used by Lehmann, publicly stating that the Aussies have England top6 all worked out. English batsmen get into them practice nets.
Australia big worries are injuries lose Clarke and Harris and its good night sleep tight.

Oh yeah England are dour comments. why do you Australia do and say these kind of things? England are over the mental attack.. In the past it would have bothered England players.. But we are the better team and if we go out and play well we will win..
