Reaction to England sqad/Lehmann

MR Lehmann started the mind games for this winter as early as the 4th test match this series. Also think Warne chipped in a fair bit.

That aside Lehmann seems a nice guy and all part of Ashes cricket.

Squad overall no complaints from me. Looks strong in all departments and a few new faces to spice it up. A few of the guys have something to prove after a threadbare summer.

whereas i can kind of see what Lehmnan is getting at (England perhaps playing it 'safe' I'd question having a go at England prior to a series. Surely all that will do is rile the team? If i were Lehmann i would go quietly about things, ensuring that both (a) my Captain didn't need back surgery during the winter, and (b) that I had enough bowlers fit and raring to go for the Ashes. Strange, i really did have Lehmann down as smarter!

Just not the aussies style, they are more brash and cocky and like to get in amongst it win or lose.
Sometimes the aussies can just speak tosh just to get your backs up, however this time there is some evidence to suggest that Lehmann has a few comments/remarks right. Not my style, i am more conservative and respectful.

We have the better team, their pitches will suit the England batsmen. Have the aussies forgotten 2010-11? 11, England to win 3-1.
