GTA 5 Ending - SPOILER ALERT

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT READ THIS ARTICLE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING OF THIS GAME IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED ALREADY

Ok, to the point of my Article, to those of you reading and wanting to reply, I'm going to assume some of you have completed the game too, now what I want to ask is this:

A: Which option did you pick?

I chose option C: To save both Trevor and Michael

B: Are there any plus sides to having either Michael or Trevor killed?

Because it seems to me, you lose a playable character, and if that is all that happens, why would anyone want to pick an option to kill one of the characters?

For instance, it crossed my mind where if I chose to kill a character, does that characters money go into the other two characters bank accounts? Is there any bonus at all?

PS absolutely insane game, what a way to close this generation of gaming
