Theme

Each year, their is a different theme to the league

2 Years ago the theme was defense. The team with the best defense won the league. (Man City)

Last year, it was attack. The team with the best attack won the league. (Man Utd)

This year, the theme seems to be possession, creative football, with more teams trying to play like this, even the Neanderthals Stoke are, hence why we see teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton and Villa doing very well and teams like Man Utd, Sunderland and West Ham struggling.

Lets hope the team with the best midfield (Arsenal) go on to win the league

And their is a theme to how people get these points.

All that we see or seem
Is but a theme within a theme.

and the team with the balance will win it and i might sound a bit deluded at this early stage but im quietly confident because of the reason stated above we might just have enough to win the league this season, jose is still trying to get the balance right and i have no doubt that he will get it sooner rather then later

this years theme will be midfield

the more creative midfield will dominate...at the moment manu have zero creativity in midfield

Seeing the game yesterday and a few other games you have played this season it seems that arsenal have gone with the gameplan of packing the midfield out with loads of central players, nick a goal on the counter and then just defend.

Villa don't play possession football. They just sit back and hit on the counter.

City are a possession based team and aren't doing too well either (ironically, had 67% possession yesterday against Villa).

But I can see where you get it from.

I actually thought stoke would eventually resort to route one but fair play to them.

They are definitely playing more of a possession game.

Jones comment about Pulis sums him perfectly

You might want to take a quick glance at our injury list. Then you will realise why we have so many central players playing in midfield. We can't play the way we like to without wingers, so we're simply getting the job done without them. The teams that we have played have really lacked any sort of creativity.

BH seems to be confused between Arsenal and his own team. Eriksen and Soldado touched the ball twice after their goal.
