(Choosing from Taylor, Chisnall or neither)
5 points for a correct winner, 9 for a correct score and 6 for an upset (when a lower ranked player knocks out his counterpart). 1 points for the player to hit the highest outshot, 7 points for the number and a further 4 points for both.
New to the scoring: predict the number of legs each player wins for 11 points. If you get the correct legs and the correct score there will be a further 2 point bonus.
This round, a winner can score a minimum of 18 legs and a maximum of 28. A loser can score a maximum of 27

10 (+1) wins for Taylor since inception in '98, and a competition won solely by Englishmen besides MVG, who took the crown last year. Taylor is 9/4 favourite here with MVG close behind at 7/2 and Lewis a distant third at 7/1.

Maybe have a two tier system? 8 players in each division. Top 4 in top division go into finals night, bottom 2 and top 2 in Division 2 go into relegation/promotion play off.
Bottom 2 in division 2 get relegated from the completion, and replaced by the new big thing.

Because the order of merit moves with the high volume of tournaments it is difficult to have a year on year system which doesn't allow for form and for periods of rapid improvement
