Brewers Match Predictor League Table (10)

The brewers showed moments yesterday what we had last season and that thing is playing together as a team. I hope this is the early signs of this team starting to gel. Having someone like billy back in the team gives the rest of the team a boost , knowing there's a man up front who knows where the net is , as we all know goals win games. It was also good to see us mixing up the game with passing the ball and long kicks. As the Brewers put on wave after wave of attacks in the second half we should have put the game to bed hitting the woodwork twice and a few more good chances. But we all know about sucker punches when you are playing attacking football , giving Wycombe hope of a lifeline at the end.
It was also good to see the Brewers closing down with pace and nicking the ball off a player.
We must not forget Wycombe had a man sent off , which gave us more chance to attack , but I do think the Brewers would have took the points as Wycombe only seemed dangerous on a set piece and Pickford not having to deal with much for most of the game.
A win has now set us up nice for next weekend at home , with a win will put us back in the mix at the top end of the table.
Come on Brewers lets kick on !

I have to admit to a Tim Henmanlike fist pump when the Wycombe goal went in. Then my lad and I stared nervously at soccer Saturday for the final four minutes
