Only on the pitch for 6 minutes and scores on his debut. I hope he does well on his loan spell and he has one of the best managers Wolves ever had to help him along.

Would be ironic if McAlinden turned out to have an incredible Wolves career and Turner was yet again the guy to kick start it.
McAlinden has a big future and has a real shot at reaching the top, wouldn't be surprised to see him leapfrog Cassidy upon his return.

a perfect start for liam. i told my friend who is a shrewsbury STH (who i went to the match with earlier this year) to have a bet on a debut goal, hope he put something on at the ground.
3 month loan and this is a great chance for mcalinden to show he can scors goals and contribute to team performances in this league. for me it's a bit of a shoot out between him and cassidy - whichever of them forces themselves into a starting line up or off the subs bench and can be seen to make a positive contribution should be getting the run in at wolves as our 3rd/4th choice striker (depending on whether KJ continues to use siggy out wide, which i hope he doesn't).
my money is on mcalinden who has looked bright and inventive every time i've seen him play. i also think if cassidy can't step up this season, he will be left behind should wolves win promotion.

and he's a comedy genius off the pitch too.

I agree GB, only a matter of time til he surpasses Cassidy i suspect.
Siggy is a different matter as he offers plenty more versatility for where we are at right now, though i have little doubt McAlinden will be the better goalscorer in the long term.
How many years does McAlinden have left on his contract?

Here’s his goal although I don’t think the guy filming will be giving up his day job....

Shrews next match is against Posh. Liam could do us a big favour.

Wouldn't worry to much cyp, we keep going the way we have so far no one will keep pace.
We have a better squad than anyone else, injuries will derail others.
