Gibbs was at fault for the Norwich goal yesterday.

Had a shocking game at the Hawthorns, His careless slip against Stoke at the Emirates nearly cost you a goal but everything else is elementary.

TWO who's to say it's only his fault? How about mf who allowed Norwich build up play, right sided players who shouldve blocked the cross, Mert who shouldve done better with the clearance?

Honestly, Gibbs should have thrown himself at Howson's shot. His attempt at a block was half hearted for me, he put half a foot out. That is not to say that I disagree though, a midfielder should have tracked back, Mertesacker's clearance should have been better, it was one of those moments where the whole team was in awe of our attacking prowess and fell asleep for some defending. No harm done in the end. I think he has been superb this season. His performances aren't faultless though.

They were at fault too, but Gibbs' attempt at a block was almost cowardly.

Didn't think there was much Merte could've done about it, tbh. Seemed to come at him so fast and hard, it was more a deflection than a clearance.

I'd need to see it again, but that was my initial reaction anyway.
