Grated that is the team in number 1 position, hence why I said we are second...

This is a confusing concept, I struggled with it as a 6 year old so pay attention.

The ability gap between first and second does not affect those positions, if we were in a golf tournement and you were 1st with 25 under par and i was second with 2 under par, I would still be second!

The fact you are 23 shots better than me would not affect my placement, even if you were 36 shots better than me you would not suddenly own 1st and 2nd place, you are only one so no matter how good you are you only get 1 place...

Spurs and Arsenal fans are ok

Arsenal fans have only calmed over the last year because they are on the fattest comedown imaginable. They've spent the last six years buzzing about like hyper 13 year olds, declaring at the start of every season "this will be our year!", but now their best players are about to leave and they realise they will do well to hold down fourth place next season. Reality has finally sunk in for out little north London friends.

If I was 23 shots better than you though, you would look a little silly to claim that you were the best, maybe Nani just isn't very clever...

Besides does Nani specify he is referring to ability alone or is he talking of a combanation of factors ?

Admittedly I did think thats half the reason the Arsenal fans had calmed down but I figured no need to stick the boot in when they are already lying on the floor covered in blood...

How can that comment be seen as generalised hatred?
I would think most would pity you rather than hate you.When I take my seat on Monday at our £400million unity stadium,I will be surrounded by likeminded blues who've all been there in the bad and good times and are part and parcel of our club.If you ever bother venturing into Trafford you will take your seat surrounded by plastic,glory hunting,bandwagon jumping,prawn munching sheep with no mind of their own.And that,my little rag friend,is why you are not hated but simply pitied

You just know that it was written whilst sweating, bashing the keyboard and generally rather angry

Anyway 7, just to sum up what I was saying...

It's like, if the choice was between a nice apple pie or a pavlova, which is better, one could easily say they are better than the other, and vise-versa, there isn't much in it and people would accept that. But if a sticky toffee pudding comes along, that completely blows the other two out of the water, neither the apple pie nor the pavlova can say they are better than the sticky toffee pudding without looking daft.

Do you see what I'm saying through the medium of deserts?

In fairness Nani could be referring to a combanation of factors and such as I suggested earlier but United unfortunately are not the best club (ability wise) Barca are, Nani is probably saying this to please fans and limit speculation on his long term future though...

I wouldn't say we are a huge distance from Barca ability wise, its not quite as ridiculous as say a Liverpool player suggesting his club is the best in the world...

I reckon this Barca team will probably go down as the greatest of all time to be honest.
