So far so good. Gotham City is very similar to Arkham City in terms of layout but I like having more of the same.
Main differences are they've swapped the L2 and R2 buttons for L1 and R1 which is slightly annoying but only a short term problem.
The whole riddler system has changed a bit as well.

Where do they get these silly names from? Batman Asylum. Batman City. Batman Origins.
I forget which is which!

Theyve never had one of those names hammers
The Arkham games have always been the opposite of button bashing, asylum was initially designed as a rhythm game

Played about an hour of it today, started off pretty well, a bit too similar to previous incarnations but happy so far nonetheless.

Dont get me wrong i am enjoying it, but it feels like it is exactly what it is - a cheap knock off of the 1st two. It looks like Batman, plays like Batman, but to me there just seems to be this feeling of not being as "solid" as the first two.

One thing that's annoying me is that grappling doesn't seem quite as easy as before. On Arkham City moving from one area to the next felt really smooth and fluid but now it seems there are less things to grapple on to so the motion isn't as continuous.

I'll tell you something that was hard Tu Meke, some of those damn riddler trophies.
I don't want to see a remote controlled batarang ever again.

They've changed the riddler trophies to extortion packs but there's still the interrogation aspect. There are also towers and jammers which need to be dealt with with the disruptor in order to use detective mode/the cryptographic sequencer.
