No i just think the time was right. Saw Scholes many times at Sunderland and he was simply the best player I have seen. I support Sunderland by the way and was terrified every time he got the ball, not one of our players could get near him and he could pass anything from 10 yards to about 75 with total accuracy. Then to top it all he scored with a header. I think that zidane and xavi call him the best player ever says it all. Scholes was simply brilliant. However, the most overrated player i ever saw was beckham.
