let's hope we win 4000-0 !!

Just wondering how many games I've been to since my first game in 1960 !!

I've not been every year...since...but I reckon somewhere around 800 games !!

certain years I went to nearly every home and away game..but some years I didn't go at all due to either playing on a Saturday or tied up with the kids when they were young...

What would be the most memorable game out of all those matches ?

I'll have to think...

So what was everybody else's most memorable game during your time watching the Terriers ?

Newport County at home when we gained automatic promotion to the 2nd tier, I would have been about 11/12yo,,,, We had only been out of the top flight a decade and in my eyes we were only a season away from being back there,,, Having seen Swansea and Watford flying up through the leagues there was no reason we couldnt do the same,, Alas, It wasnt to be...A close 2nd would be Newcastle at home, Their fans had the open end, a third of the stand and the cowshed !! Being the age i was i remember a rumour going around school that Keegan was going to come in a helicopter and land on the pitch !!!!!! He never even played,,,,,,,, A gangly Waddle (who looked nothing like a player) tore us to shreds in the 2nd half.

My memory is crap at remembering stuff like that, so fair play brycey

One of the best matches I attended was the 3-2 home win against Blackburn, must be 16/18 years ago? We scored in the last seconds. Brilliant.

Also the 1-2 victory @ Elland Road! I always remember getting hugged to death by this huge ginger lad when that winning goal went in.

I remember a match at Leeds Road against Brian Clough's Forest team. League Cup i believe.

I didn't even see this article

Late entry but my most memorable league game would be when we beat Bradford 4-3 at Valley Parade in the 94/95 season. Paul Reid scoring a blatant handball goal against his former employers, Dean Richards carried off after clattering into the advertising hoardings, being packed into the Midland Road garden shed like sardines and of course a 7 goal thriller of a West Yorkshire derby. I was only 15 but p-ssed as a fart that day

That Blackburn game was also brilliant Hydy. Think it was the season opener on a Friday night?
