Townsend repeatedly ran down blind alleys and hit hopeful shots. Didn't vary his game at all whatsoever.

Dembele did absolutely nothing apart from take an eternity on the ball in the lead-up to their goal

Apart from sheet set pieces and a missed sitter I can't remember what Eriksen did that was worthwhile.

Got Into a goalscoring position (although he obviously should have scored it) and played a great ball into the box in the first half

And you could say Townsend got the ball into the box from his runs a few times. Let's not forget either he was well marked which made his job harder.

Both of them were as ineffective as each other IMO.

Even more reason to mix his game up. Kept trying to dribble from the ball from deep, cut in and shoot. Hardly ever makes off-the-ball runs behind the defence
