Clearance Sale at NUFC

Todays departure of Enrique only adds to our woes. Inevitable though it seemed, his parting comments (heaping praise on Liverpool) only adds salt into wounds. Quite simply, there shouldn't be such a gulf between the two clubs and the whole blame for this has to be placed with our imcompetent owners. No-one (Ashley and Llambias aside) seem to know where all of the transfer money from the sales of Carroll and Nolan has gone and we can only assume that it was given to Mikes employees in the form of bonus payments. Meanwhile, we rely on cheap and moreover, a handful of free signings. The fans of our once proud club are being taken for mugs here and frankly, it stinks. If Ashley wanted to buy a club to run on the cheap primarily in order to promote his business then NUFC wasn't the club for him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt until fairly recently when it became blatantly apparent that he was destroying the side and short changing us, the fans. I sincerely hope that he goes as soon as is possible as the rot within the club will continue for as long as he (and his muppets) are at the helm. Sorry, sorry times for us in the meantime.
