With the Ashes just hours away, which country is better and why? (It doesn't just have to be about cricket).

A beast when he wants to be. Got lucky Robb. Hopefully the rain will rescue us.

The rain might rescue you but surely the momentum has to be with us going into the second test?
I didn't think we were that bad in the summer. Far better than I thought we'd be and on our home territory we're looking fired up.

Our batting hasn't helped matters.
Rain can't come soon enough.

Yeah, you guys generally do better at Adelaide. But with Johnson in this form you guys may struggle.
Your problems in New Zealand last year were a forewarning for this.

3-1 England instead of 4-0, no trouble

Unlikely. England can't handle Johnson's pace. Nothing at all suggests they can bounce back.
I watched the league semi final yesterday. Was very impressed with England. Very unlucky to lose to the second best team in the world.
