Should we strengthen this January?

We definitely don't need to, as this league is clearly easily winnable with current crop, but I think to keep the fans interested, and to keep the product fresh, I'd hope that Ally might add one, or maybe two at the most, with the forward line most in need of some talent.

It would be good to shift some defenders off the wage bill and free up a wage for a decent striker to partner Daly. With Little injured, Temps unreliable, Clarke not convincing....does that mean an opportunity to offer Kenny Miller an 18 month contract? He'd be a good temporary addition to the squad, would probably play every week barring injury, although very unlikely to be good enough to scare SPL defenders in 2 years time so do we go along with it as a temporary expedient.....or do we recruit a top quality young striker with the SPL in mind?

I repeat that I don't think this squad needs additions yet but feel that the club may want to improve the product for remainder of this year if, as it appears, we are coasting to the league title, and will also want to freshen/improve the squad for next season as one justification - amongst others - for increasing admission money

One of the main issues Ally has is to balance having the quality to win the league we're in while bedding in suitable quality players for the next league up, while keeping them motivated is another issue.

I don't see much change but maybe one or two changes in January with a few more in the summer.

No. We've enough for the next 18 months. Plus how are we meant to afford it?

No offence to Kenny Miller but he'd probably want a pretty big wage and we don't need him at the moment.

Doubt if we'll sign many, if any in January unless there's a load of injuries etc.

Clarke not convincing
----------------------

disagree, he shows flashes of being a right good player, needs a goal or two, needs game time and positive encouragement - the goals will come.

we don't need anyone, we need to utilise and assess properly what we have, and look to trim the fat and concentrate on developing the two or three players a season we should be getting from Murray park.

money should only be spent on players after we get back to the premier league, we need to develop what we have and hopefully mold them into a team that with a modest injection of cash to raise the quality in key positions we can begin the challenge of taking us back to where we belong...

looking down on them

Onvce Clark scores one, he'll score loads. He's getting into positions and getting shots on target, that's the promising thing. We might be light a striker though, but I wouldn't go for one in January. Wait till the summer try snap up a freebie with potential if we do go for onr. I hear that lewadowski is out of contract.
