Yeah. It's not easy to pick a good midfield

Really difficult but I went with:

GK: Hart, Butland, Foster
Def: Baines, Cahill, Jagielka, Johnson, Jones, Shaw, Smalling, Walker
Mid: Barkley, Carrick, Gerrard, Lallana, Lennon, Wishere
Fwds: Lambert, Rodriguez, Rooney, Sturridgr, Townsend, Walcott

I think I'd like to see something like this:

Walker---Cahill---Jagielka----Baines

------------------Rooney----------------------
Walcott--------Lambert--------Townsend

I know there's a bit of age in there but I think that team would suit the formation well.

Also I'd load the squad with youngsters like Ward and Barkley - if we ever want them to learn for the future then bring them along as cover.

Quite like that tbh. I'd maybe have Sturridge on ahead of Lambert. Definitely agree on bringing players like Barkley along.

Walcott and Townsend could be a very dangerous combo

Defence: Baines, Cole, Cahill, Terry, Lescott, Caulker, Richards, Walker

Midfield: Lampard, Gerrard, OX, Lennon, Wilshere, Milner, Barkley

Striker: Defoe, Rooney, Lambert, Sturridge, Townsend
