On December 7th Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12 KO) will face off against Austin Tout (26-1, 14 KO) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
This is a very interesting fight stylistically and i can see it being a very close contest.
Lara is coming off a win over angulo and his only loss has been at the hands of paul williams which was a robbery.
Trout on the other hand is coming off a loss against canelo which was a close fought contest.
To me,lara showed against angulo that he can be hit by a fighter of angulos speed,and he was dropped several times in that fight but he has experience from a long period in the amateur ranks and he like trout is a very smart fighter.His main weapon is of course that left but i see this being negated by his fellow south paw trout.
Trout brings to the table a slick technical style with good speed and movement.Apart from the knock down agaisnt canelo trout was very much in that fight and i saw him starting to figure out canelo near the end rounds.Trout is faster than angulo and he has a very good jab,i expect lara to look to counter punch while trout will look to push the pace.This should be a boxing feast for the purists and i think the busier fighter will win this fight.Both will land but lara will land with more power but i do not think he will land as often as trout will and this is why i'm going with trout by a close decision.

Lara is gonna school Trout. Trout can only win by robbery. Nobody at 154 beats Lara other than maybe Floyd, but he wouldn't fight Lara

Btw Angulo is a serious puncher, Trout hasn't got the power to drop or even hurt Lara

Lara should win by a wide decision. But he tends to get lazy and admire his work.

You forgot the Molina fight where Lara should have a L on his record. Having said that I am intrigued how the Lara Trout fight will play out. Lara better not be lazy as it may cost him.
