soldado

avb sacked, now I a big fan of Soldado, great goal scorer, well he was with Valencia.
my point, avb playing the lone striker, that being Soldado. now we had Kenny Miller as lone striker, mobile fast,The tic can use big Sammy.
What made Boas use Soldado as a lone striker, top predator, but not the fastest, while wee defoe sat on the bench. Can see why he got the tin tack, any thoughts on my points Bears and Bhoys.

Soldado has always been a penalty box striker, and Villas Boas did not use the system well enough to support him.

He generally played two defensive midfielders which is not necessary for a team like Spurs in about 90% of their games and that meant there were not enough players getting forward to support Soldado.

If Soldado was playing with Arsenal he'd be doing smashing just now.

AVB or the Spurs hierarchy bought too many players at one time to compensate for losing one player!
Soldado is a good striker as he has proven so for Spain. The lone striker is probably the hardest to position to play in, and the system was totally against him.
