I think we've seen a mellowing in NFL since the demise of their rivals, theres not been quite the same amount of pressure on him and that's shown in his press conferences. I think he'll go before they get into the Prem (that's assuming they get promoted of course, Hearts youth policy may pay dividends in the not too distant future)

look at Southhampton...

sacked Adkins, the manager who brought them up, but wasn't cutting it in the premiership and brought in Pochettino who kept them up beating Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea in the process.

Mackay simply wasnt cutting it and after spending 50m in one window, Pochettino only spent 36m in the whole of 2013, Tan's well within his rights to be looking at another manager to protect his investment.

cant see what the fuss is tbh.

It's the way Tan has gone about his business. He never wanted Mackay in the first place and only the chairman kept him from sacking him earlier (before this season).

Then there's the fact Tan fired the recruitment officer who and replaced him with his son's friend who has zero experience.. Smart move

Could work out in our favour though. Strike up a wee relationship with the young boy and punt all our shíte (Stokes, Samaras etc) to them

Fair comments re:our manager, only thing I would disagree with would be getting actually getting rid of Neil (who has done nothing wrong) just to throw another man in. I happen to think he will leave like WGS and MON, what else is there for him to achieve in Scotland?

Well, he could win a couple of SPLs with some competion in it ! He could win a treble ! He's had an easy ride in comparison to all of his predecessors.

meu

Not his fault.

Like McCoist he has done what was asked of him and done well in Europe (Even this season, we had 3 qualifiers remember!).

I still want him to rotate the squad a bit though.

He's already banging on about how most of the players have played 35 games or so which approximates to a full season.

If he knows that, and its affecting performances with players being tired/burnt out then Lennon should actively do something to change it. Give the regulars a rest (especially if they aren't performing) and let some of the fringe/new/younger players have a taste of what it's like to play for the first team.

We might even have another gem sitting on the bench.. But we'll never know unless they're given some proper game time to show what they can do and form some understanding with the regular first 11. 3 and a bit minutes at the end of the game is pointless, yet that is all some of our bench is getting.
