Seriously though,

today we have an FA cup game against
a Derby team who are realy crackling at
the moment.Mclaren to his credit ,has done
very well since he arrived, and will relish being
back in the big time against Chelsea .could
there be an upset on the cards ?

No he won't, derby play attacking football and have their best centre half out. They are too scores in the champion I believe, they only really know one way and will try and play like Blackpool did in the PL.

Well if Derby go Kamakazi, it could well be a 3-0 or 4-1 drubbing, i just can't see it.

They won't go kamikaze and of course they we choose their moments more carefully than normal but they are a team the usually scores and usually concedes.

I wouldn't be surprised if the nicked one but think we can score at least three today.

I reckon 1-3, 1-4 something like that. If we score early and they sit back then they will be in trouble.

if the pitch is heavy with too much rain and conditions awful again that increases the odds of an upset.....who knows, Jose maybe a bit low today because of Esebio

Drog, sorry mate i really can't see Derby approaching this game as they would a normal Championship match, please give Mclaren some credit.

Likewise i think Jose will want to get in front and close up shop, we do have bigger tests to come and he will want to conserve players.

I expect the players to not respect the opposition and we'll start slow and take it easy after a busy schedule. We then won't be able to raise the tempo and NPE to have a great day saying i told you so.

Or we might draw.

Or we might win

Of course they won't treat it like a championship game, that said if a team is is setup to play a certain way then there is only do much effective adjustment they can make and still have a chance at a result. This is also a showcase for SM to show English football he's back and he'll want derby to play.

Bluedroog, agreed. And this is the FA cup.
I hope JT has a scream before the game to
remind everyone.

32 mins, 0-0 and Derby with as much possession as Chelsea. A game of peers.
