Winter World Cup ?

Looking more likely FIFA will switch the Qatar World Cup to November/December in 2022.

Think they may find opposition from the Premier League and the Bundesliga just to name two...

Should be interesting...

We all knew the selection process was a farce with money changing hands behind the scenes. FIFA should ask for another vote from the members and see then if Qatar win the finals...

Total farce in my mind.

Arent your tired of watching England lose in Oz, Darn???!!

To be fair Champers, Mars is fully committed to building gravitational stadia and view the lack of an atmosphere as no barrier to hosting a football match........[insert own joke here]

So, English football season starts August, they'll play about 8 games until end of September. The players will have 4 weeks get together to acclimatise before the finals in November /December. They will then need 2-3 weeks 'recovery', so season will recommence in mid January. ?

That leaves about 18 weeks approx to play 30 league games, plus FA cup games, league cup games, Champions league games and EUFA Cup games...

And how the heck are they going to manage all that ?

No doubts the Championship will suffer the same issues...

They will probably lengthen the season by a couple of weeks and start a couple of weeks earlier...that gives us a month which shud sort it....prem league teams go on tour now at seasons end so they cant really complain?

English players wont be tired after a long season and should be right on form...might help us?

At only $500 per night, it's not a deal, it's a steal!

Does that include 'extras' ?

Get ready for this to happen, if FIFA get there way and it's played in the winter then that will be the end of Football in this country at Xmas.
They will insist that we have a 'Winter Break' in the season every year from that point onwards
