Mis cueuing

Hello I was playing Snooker today and for some reason I was mis cueuing regularly. It must have happened at least 7 times to me. It kept happening when I was trying to screwback or playing a few shots off the cushion. I never usually have this kind of problem but today it just kept on happening. I'm just wondering whether that's an indication there's a problem with my cue or was it just one of them off days.

Has anyone else had something similar to this happen? I ended up getting thumped 5-1 by my friend today beaten him 5 times in a row before today and that mis cueing certainly costed me a few frames lol.
