Form guide

QPR : last 6 WLLDWW
Town: last 6 LDDWLW

Last Meeting :
John Smith Stadium
Saturday 10th August 2013
Town 1 QPR 1, Vaughan's goal on 35 mins cancelled out by Hoillett on 38.

Will Vaughan be fit to partner Wells ? with Lolley now on the books , who knows ? Great time to be a Town fan.
Really been impressed with Town for most of the season, we play very good football and have a team to play it properly !

We now have a strike force to put some extra fear into our fellow Championship teams now, who no-doubt will be taking us more as a serious play off contender.

I'm sure our Arry won't be taking us too lightly, I fancy us to draw this weekend.

Town have 3 away league games on the trot, ( QPR, Bournemouth and L99ds ) as the Forest game ( no date yet ) has been postponed for our FA Cup game against either ( Oxford or Charlton ) 5 points from those games .

One final point, Town have never won a league match at Loftus Road............... maybe we can this time

On the up !

UTT.

Listening to QPR fans comments they say that we bossed the first half, except for a 5 mins spell and that we should have taken at least a point for our overall performance.

As for my friend Wardy, as long as Mark Robins values him that will do for me, because he's still young and one day he will ram your adverse criticism of him down your gobs, just like Wor Lee will

Mirf, Birmingham lost again!

I used to like Ward, but he is too inconsistent. He has missed a lot of sitters, so it proves he's no striker. Ward loves to cut inside and lash the ball, once a team susses him out, he is ineffective. Oh, he can't cross a ball to save his life either. Time to say goodbye! Ward has just not lived up to expectations.

Elvie,

He's so ineffective that it's only a couple of weeks back that he was MOTM, scoring a couple of goals and laying on another with a perfect cross. Apart from Vaughan, no other Town player has scored more league goals than Wardy, so what are you going on abart?

As for Wor Lee's Brum, they might have lost again BUT the've still only lost one more game than us and conceded one more goal. So considering the state of finances at Brum, overall he's making a decent fist of it.

Inconsistent then? Also they were against Yeovil, and their keeper should have saved one of them.

I've just seen the highlights, he should at least be hitting the target with that shot. The amount of times he drags em wide is daft. Nahki was waiting to pounce too.

I warned you, but you had to wake him up

Mirf, I would actually keep Ward, but he would be very bit-part, i.e. Cup games, home games against strugglers, mostly cover for our forwards.

As you say, he does have a good performance in him, but those games aren't every game, more like 1 in every 5 or 6. That to me makes him bench material at best.

We paid a tidy sum for him and we will most likely lose him for free. That sums him up really.

Not even getting started on Lee Clark ffs. Ancient history in football terms.

Hydy,

"also they were against Yeovil" - Do you mean the same Yeovil who beat Forest 3-1 and Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road?

Champers,

I agree he's history, but some b-ggers on here just cant resist keep digging up his name - maybe the're just jealous of his magnificent 43 game unbeaten league run.
