Bresnan is the ultimate useless cricketer with both the Bat & Ball.

Again another Yorkshire Puppet that needs to be dropped.

As a Sussex fan its nice to see CJ doing well but how Luke Wright doesnt make the team is a mystery. He's far better than Bopara & Bresnan for starters. He's a far better player now than he was 3-4 years ago.

Kent -

got to disagree about Bopara, he has been excellent for England for about 18 Months now and deserves his spot in the team. He imo is vital to the set up and both his bowling and batting is very good. Im still shocked Cook didnt give him the ball in the 49th Over instead of Stokes who has been going for runs all winter.

Bresnan well thats a different story. Needs/Deserves to be dropped.

Bopara will always divide opinion, I am in the " he's had too many chances already " camp but I do understand your point.

Bresnan is just simply not good enough at any facet of the game to play for his country before or after the elbow surgery.

I'm surprised CJ wasnt thrown the ball although having watched him for most of the summer for Sussex he is a better 4 day play than 1 day player but as the test side is a bit of an old boys club he was never going to get a look in during an ashes year. That may well change this summer though

In case it slipped you mind, Root had bowling figures of 2/46 off 9 overs and dismissed 2 of Australia`s top order, including their best player and skipper Clarke.

Root is still young and learning, how many of England`s so called experienced and top class batters have excelled against Johnson this winter? Give the lad a break ffs
