MT - while this is a nice sentiment. I don't remember much sticking together 18 months ago. Moses, HH and a few others left this forum as a result. I nearly left, but being a bit longer in the tooth and more thick skinned, I rode it out.

Nuns just remembers the weeks of I told you so that went on. Yes his comment is harsh, but not completely unexpected.

I just want what is best for BWFC. Not sure what that is right now, but unless DF resigns which is unlukely, then he has 12 days to get some loans in and we need to have hope and faith he can get a run similar to last season going!!

Sheff Wed - jeez

Kind of. Considering Nuns was an advocate of managerial change long before I was. Add to the that the fact that his problem is I have no issue with TRR. I seem to be painted as some kind of best mate of someone I have never met I the flesh. I also seem to remember Nuns playing a crucial role in the disappearance of HH, after his Mears article.

Tbh Cravies, I can't remember who was before who. You were def one of the earlier and more vociferous advocates of managerial change.

What Nuns didn't do though, was give it the big 'i told you so'!!

HH actually was an excellent poster due to his working within football. Yes the Mears article wasn't his finest, but both you and I have posted bad articles.

My beef with you is well in the past, but sometimes we nail our colours to a particular mast, and it just doesn't work out.

Maybe Nuns will be back today and be calmer. We've all posted in the angry heat of the moment.

Our current defence is going to struggle against any kind of pace at all. Baptiste, knight, mills are just lumbering giants and are ripped apart by any team like reading that has pace. No matter what happens with the manager defensive signings need to be made. Not 1,2 or 3 month loans but loans until the end of the season, players that will be available for every game. I have issues with Freedman's selections. When McNaughton left why bring knight back and break up the mills/ream partnership and play ream who looks out of his depth at left back? I know mears is not that good but as our only fit right back he should have come straight back in and kept the rest of defence the same. Not sure what Freedman's issue is with mears but if he is too stubborn to address the issue then play white to see how he goes. Got to be better than knight. The midfield. Spearing has been awful this season. The balance without him v Blackpool was much better. Medo had an amazing game but was dropped straight away. I see pratley who is just a cart horse brought into a 5 man midfield yesterday. With that and just ngog on his own up front I knew we were doomed yesterday.

Benny - fair assessment.

But... Something just isn't right. I remember loads of people on here saying the squad was good enough, it just needed a manager to get them set up correctly and we would storm the league!!

I 100% agree with MT's Rioch article. The Championship is a straight forward 4-4-2league. All the teams at the top play settled sides and attack. For some reason that I can't fathom, DF likes to tinker. He rarely plays the same 11 for two consecutive games and drops players when they play well. I know we don't see what goes on in training, but this aint rocket science!!!

He needs to play people in their correct positions and settle on a consistent starting 11 in a 4-4-2 (injuries permitting).

From Fav for promotion to soon to be Fav for the sack DF is brilliant ! and in such a short space of time from just missing out on a playoff spot. I'm amazed no super duper club has tried offering billions to take him away from us.
