Jack Hunt

According to Alan Nixon Jack Hunt is to be loaned to a Championship club to regain fitness. If this is true would you like to see him him back at Town? Or do you feel we've moved on?

I always had you down as a jacko?! Don't know why!

Ian Bogey, Port Vale, didn't he used to score against us all the time?

I seem to think Steve Claridge scored against us whenever we played against him.

Didnt that fat boy at Swansea (name escapes me) always do the same too?

I remember watching a young Stan Collymore playing for Southend against us and tearing us apart, that was at the old ground though

Lee Trundle?

Yes, it was Trundle, MB, I remember Collimore playing for Southend that day at Leeds Road, he was terrific, just a loud mouth now.

Its sad when you think how much talent someone like Collymore had and threw it away. I guess he is now just another dull voice on TV and radio? Havent seen him on anything in years.

Still not as criminal as how Gazza threw his career away. If he had an ounce of sense he could have been the best player of his generation. Cant think of another English player in my lifetime that was so naturally gifted. I believe in 1990 Sir Alex wanted him at Man Utd and its such a shame he didnt go as I reckon he would have sorted him out. That broken leg in the FA Cup is just so tragic now as it was the start of the slide down

Didnt Lee Trundle battle cancer recently?? I could picture his face but not his name. He was a hell of a finisher, just never really fit enough

He was going out with an atomic kitten (no pun intended if he did have cancer)

Very skilful, always on soccer am too, saying "I love dvds"

I saw this which makes interesting reading, it shows the nett effect of transfers for each club in the Championship (as it is now) for the last 5 years. We do well with the Rhodes money putting us in a healthy £5M profit over that time. Leeds do the best with £12M as they sold everyone they could and replaced cheap. The top clubs have lost crazy money for this level and there are a couple of ex Premier League teams there that only have good figures due to getting lucky selling a player for a massively overpriced amount (Stuart Downing to name one!)
