Moyes is getting a very easy ride
look at the slating villas boas got when he was above us in the league
look at the pounding Mancini got when he was second
I don't know if it is because they all supported him when he got the job, or that they don't want to critise him because they know full well his job is safe, but what ever it is he is getting a free pass from them!
The Media aren't hard enough on Moyes

How many games Januzaj would have got under Jose is guesswork but I do know that he hasn't played a single minute since Mata was signed, in spite of being our most in form player beforehand. Moyes wasn't exacrly known for giving youth a chance at Everton

Fack me! Moyes, he just can't win. He's playing janujaz far too much for lad making the step up to first team. Janujaz is doing well, learning and was starting to look jaded as mentioned by many of the expert coaches during the Sunderland game. Now Moyes has 'dropped' janujaz.

Are you drunk?
He would not have even got on the bench.
Buttner would probably have played in front of Evra.
Wellbeck would be the Number 10.
Only Wenger might have got you into third place out of the current managers and with your existing players.
Is this a sarcastic post? I'll play along though. Yes Jose oa tactically inept and renowned for leading teams to 7th in the league.
You are championing Moyes for youth development in spite of the fact that he blatantly didn't give youth a chance at your club. Januzaj was brought in and I applsud that but I don't think it's inconceivable that it was more through necessity than choice, given our problems

Moyes had dropped Januzaj, yes

I don't get this Januzaj nonsense to be honest. FFS, the guy is only 18 he needs to rest. If anyone here says Young should not have played this game going by his previous game then you should not criticise Moyes because you know jack about football/motivation.
And erm, Jose mourinho would've been top 4 do not even go there. He would've attracted players and bought least 2 players to play centre mid.

I quick point to make as a neutraI, I don't see made very often. I don't get people/media/whoever these days that believe managers should be given carte blanche and a seemingly unlimted amount of time and patience when they arrive for the sake of 'stability' and 'building something'. This doesn't happen anymore because the game has drastically changed in the past 20 years, way more than anyone thought. You can't compare Moyes starting out and Ferguson starting out because the stakes are so much higher these days. Champions league is now the be all and end all, financially and status wise it is essential to being a 'big club'. This wasn't so much of an issue in Fergie's early days, I mean the competition was a straight knockout and only the champions of each league were involved anyway, so you were always only a bad result away from being knocked out. You could easily be a successful team without featuring too much in Europe, long story short it wasn't something you would lose your job over.
Fats forward to now and you only need to look at Liverpool to see how quickly you can decline. One/two seasons outside of the champions league and the next 4/5 were spent around the 6/7/8th league positions, their credibility on the European stage took a big hit, quality players were harder to sign.
Owners cannot take that risk anymore. Moyes cannot come in and say 'look I need 5 years support from the fans and board no matter how bad it gets because thats how long I need to get us successful'. It can't work like that. He has to work season to season keeping United competitive, then 'building something' takes care of itself.

I am not saying Young shouldn't have played. He deserved his place. But I do think Januzaj was dropped, not rested. Hence him not even getting a single minute. Tbh he was quite selfish against Sunderland and probably needed that wake up call, so I actually think it was good management by Moyes.

Turning the champions into a midtable team is a realistic expectation?
