The dice never really tumbled well for Chris Porter in his time at Derby. Just as he was hitting his stride, 'the hip' reared it's ugly head (is that anatomically possible?) But it's safe to say that Ex-Rams Messrs. Porter and Clough are doing sterling work in South Yorkshire, continuing to plague Billy "I dinnae talk to the press" Davies and the Red Dogs, by dumping them out of the FA Cup. If ever there was a time to re-post my spoof of Mick Ronson's "Billy Porter", this is it. Chrissy, we salute you!

Not always the most reliable source (his 75 goals in 72 games for Utd being a prime example) but it does show his contribution to derby.
Notable goals:
2 vs Swansea (full home debut)
1 vs Bristol City (making it 3 in 2 starts and 3 in 4 days, then injured for 9 months)
he scored 2 vs PNE on 1st Jan 2011 on his first start on the season (I believe someone mentioned this at the top of the tread).
Overall record, 9 goals in 44 league games (25 starts)

A quick dabble around "Moore music" on Soundcloud revealed the Derby Ram. Arguably the best interpretation yet of the folk classic. Surely one to be pumped out over the sound system alongside Steve Bloomer on match days. Are GSE not ringing you for the rights Moj?

Nah sorry, best one to come out of that seminal piece of work by Mr K Moore was 'Commons People' - a simple song based upon the Jarvis Cocker and Pulp classic........t'was brilliant.
Now, sadly, not relevant living on in VF terrace.

I'm just getting my head around 10 songs for this folk album I'm off to do in Co. Mayo....on the way, via London, I'm putting a vocal down on a Witch Cross song. Never let it be said I'm not diverse!
